What is NDIS Travel & Transport Support?
NDIS Travel and Transport support helps participants get to and from the places that matter — medical appointments, therapy sessions, work, community activities, social outings, and more. For many people with disability, reliable, supported transport is the difference between participating in life and being stuck at home.
Transport support under the NDIS can be funded in two ways: as a direct support item within your Core Supports budget (where a support worker accompanies and assists you), or as a standalone transport allowance for participants who are not able to use public transport due to their disability.
