Short-Term Accommodation (STA) in Perth
A planned break, a trial run at independent living, or support at short notice — Mayah Care's NDIS Short-Term Accommodation (STA) gives participants and families across Perth and Western Australia a safe, supported stay away from home.
What is Short-Term Accommodation (STA)?
Short-Term Accommodation (STA), sometimes called respite, is NDIS-funded support that provides a temporary stay away from your usual home — with all the personal care and support you need included. It gives you a change of scene, and gives family carers a genuine break.
STA can be used for planned respite breaks, trialling more independent living before a longer-term move, or support at short notice when your usual care arrangements fall through. Stays are typically short — from a night or two up to 28 days per stay funded through your plan.
This support is funded under your Core Supports — Assistance with Daily Living budget. Mayah Care handles the arrangements and provides consistent, dignified support throughout your stay, wherever it takes place.
