Personal Activities & Daily Living Support
Compassionate, dignity-first support with everyday personal tasks — from showering and dressing to complex high intensity care. Delivered in your home or community by skilled, consistent Mayah Care workers across Perth and all of Western Australia.
What is Assistance with Personal Activities?
Assistance with Daily Personal Activities is one of the most common NDIS Core Supports. It covers help with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, eating, mobility, and toileting — the everyday tasks that most people take for granted, but that can be challenging for people living with disability.
This support is funded under the Core Supports budget in your NDIS plan, under the registration group Assistance with Daily Personal Activities. It can be delivered in your home, in the community, or in a supported living environment.
Mayah Care also provides High Intensity Daily Personal Activities — a specialist level of care for participants with complex health needs such as complex bowel management, wound care, tracheostomy management, enteral feeding, and catheter care. All high intensity supports are delivered by qualified, NDIS-verified nursing staff.
The Mayah Care Approach
Person-centred, rights-based support delivered with genuine compassion — here's exactly how we do it.
Dignity at Every Step
We treat every person with total respect and privacy. Our workers are trained to deliver personal care in a way that upholds your dignity, honours your choices, and never makes you feel like a burden.
Consistent, Matched Workers
We match you with support workers who suit your personality, communication style, and cultural background. You see the same familiar faces — not a different stranger every visit.
Goal-Focused Support
Your NDIS plan has goals — and so does every shift. Whether you're building independence in personal care tasks or relying on full support, we align every visit with what matters most to you.
High Intensity Capability
Our qualified nurses deliver high intensity personal activities for participants with complex clinical needs — tracheostomy management, catheter care, enteral feeding, complex bowel care, and more.
