Community Nursing Care Perth WA
Qualified registered nurses delivering clinical care in your home or community across Perth and Western Australia. From wound management and medication administration to complex high intensity nursing — compassionate, skilled, and right at your door.
What is NDIS Community Nursing Care?
NDIS Community Nursing Care enables participants with complex health needs to receive qualified clinical nursing care in their own home or community — rather than in a hospital or aged care facility. This support is designed to promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing while managing ongoing health conditions safely and effectively.
Community nursing is funded under the Core Supports budget in your NDIS plan, and is delivered exclusively by qualified, NDIS-verified nurses and enrolled nurses. This is not the same as general personal care — it is clinical nursing care provided by registered professionals with the training to manage complex and high-risk health needs.
Mayah Care's nursing team is experienced across wound management, ventilator management, tracheostomy care, subcutaneous injections, enteral feeding, complex bowel management, catheter management, and dysphagia support — all delivered with genuine compassion and clinical excellence.
The Mayah Care Approach
Person-centred, rights-based support delivered with genuine compassion — here's exactly how we do it.
Wound Management
Assessment, cleaning, dressing and monitoring of all wound types — surgical wounds, chronic wounds, pressure injuries, ulcers and post-operative care. Our nurses support safe and effective healing at home.
Medication Administration
Safe administration of prescribed medications including subcutaneous injections, insulin management, and medication monitoring — accurate dosing and safe technique every time.
Catheter & Continence Care
Expert management of urinary and suprapubic catheters — insertion, ongoing management, catheter changes, bladder washouts, and monitoring for complications, ensuring your comfort and safety.
Tracheostomy & Ventilator Care
Specialist care for participants with a tracheostomy or who rely on mechanical ventilation — tube suctioning, stoma care, ventilator monitoring, circuit management and emergency response.
