What Is an NDIS Plan Review?

Your NDIS plan is reviewed periodically — usually every 12 months, or sooner if your circumstances change — to check your funding still matches your goals and support needs.

How to Prepare

1. Track What's Working

Note which supports have helped you progress toward your goals, and which haven't been used or needed.

2. Gather Evidence

Reports from your support coordinator, allied health providers or support workers help demonstrate your needs and progress.

3. Set New Goals

Think about what you want to achieve in the next 12 months — new skills, more independence, or different supports.

4. Review Your Budget

Check whether you've under- or over-used funding in each category, and why — this informs your next plan.

What Happens at the Review Meeting

You'll meet with an NDIA planner (or Local Area Coordinator) to discuss your progress, goals and support needs. Bring your evidence and be clear about what has and hasn't worked.
